We are in the midst of our Geometry math unit.  We have learned about 2D and 3D shapes and are beginning to discuss how to partition shapes into halves, thirds and fourths. Today at the Collaborative Station students made Shape Monsters with their partner(s).  They designed a monster and used shape patterns to create features.  They completed a paper that told how many of each shape was included in their monster.
