Nature Vison Fundraiser due 3/15

Nature Vision Fundraising order forms and money are due Friday, 3/15.

Nature’s Vision is committed to education and the environment. The fundraiser raises students’ environmental awareness.
Nature’s Vision donates to environmental organizations that are dedicated to Rainforest Preservation, Marine Conservation, protecting wildlife, preserving nature and ensuring a sustainable future for our planet.

In addition to their environmental work, the profits help us to have some of those special events that each year are harder to budget for as other costs rise! Last year we used profits to help fund after school clubs and hopefully if we sell enough we can do that again!

February S.T.A.R. Party

On Friday, 3/1 we celebrated excellent student behavior with our monthly Star party. Each day our Students are Taking Academic Responsibility by making good choices at school. They start the day with 4 stars and try to keep them all day or even earn an extra star for excellent behavior. Teachers kept track of student scores all month and averaged them to see who was invited to celebrate good behavior at our S.T.A.R. Party. Any student that averaged 3.5  stars or higher was invited to a dance party! We got our groove on to some popular dances such as YMCA, Ghangham Style, Whip Whip Nae Nae, and the Hokey Pokey.  Students who averaged 4 stars or higher were “Rock Stars” and received 3 glow in the dark bracelets to wear during the dance party.  Now we’ll begin working on making good behavior choices for March.

Friday we wore green and got to wear slippers.  Throughout the day they announced times for us to “Stop Drop and Read!”.

We also had some guest readers from Garden Spot High School. Trevor and Devon read The Sneetches and brought coloring pages along.
