This morning when I arrived at school I was sad to see that chick #12 had passed away during the night. It was still in the incubator because it hadn’t dried off and seemed weak.  I guess not fully absorbing the yolk was fatal after all.  The 11 chicks we do have are as cute as ever and so fluffy!  They love to cuddle on top of each other and nap.  Today they got hungry and explored the water and food more.
