Each second grade class has been paired with a fifth grade class to participate in a few activities each marking period. Our class will be working with Mrs. Myer’s class. Last Thursday we met with our fifth grade buddies for a fun collaborative activity. Each partner or group of three was challenged to create a lego aircraft that could make it down a zip line without hurting the lego man inside. The students had about 12 minutes to create their lego contraption. After that, we all watched together and tested each group’s contraption. Overall, everyone did a fantastic job! Although some of the air crafts broke on the way down or when they got to the bottom, the students did a great job working together and everyone had a blast! We cannot wait for our next adventure with our Brecknock Buddies!
