Student Blogging Challenge Week 1 How My Avatar Represents Me

_1457539160.01052_116

My avatar represents me because….

  • I have brown hair, and that’s really alike my hair style.
  • I like to wear nice or comfortable clothing and ties.
  • I normally always wear some sort of sneakers.
  • I normally always smile.
  • I like cities so a city background and I like business so a suitcase for business.
  • I have that skin color and those color eyes and have no glasses.
  • And finally because  I do have kind of little hands.

    Hi Elijah,

My name is Emmanuelle Pratt and I am your mentor in the 2016 March Student Blogging Challenge. I am a grade 4/5 teacher in Australia. I teach in a small rural school in the state of South Australia. Here is the address to our class blog in case you’d like to visit it: http://madamepratt.edublogs.org/

I enjoyed reading your introduction, and I must say that the bit that especially captured my attention was when you said ‘I do have kind of little hands’. This bit got my imagination going, because it was unexpected and unusual! Did you mention this only because your avatar has little hands or because you really do have little hands in real life?

I guess to have little hands in real life would be an advantage if you wanted play the violin (my husband always wanted to play the violin, but he had too large hands, so he had to settle for playing the viola). On the other hand (pun intended), having little hands would be an inconvenient if you wanted to play the piano.

I am not musical myself, although I do enjoy listening to music and my class and I are currently learning an indigenous song from Australia – and we LOVE practising it.

I am looking forward to reading more from you as the challenge progresses.

    All the best,
    Madame Pratt

Hi Madame Pratt yes in real life I do have pretty small hands compared to the others students and there are people younger than me with bigger hands I don’t know why but they just don’t grow much.
And yes soon I’ll visit that blog link just as soon as I finish replying to these other comment goodbye!

At our school it’s basically the same thing only some teachers wear ties the only reason I put a tie is because I like business and I also like ties. And thanks for the complements, and I think you like candy.

    Hi Elijah,
I really like how you made bullet points to organize your writing. Does your favorite color affect what you wear at all? When you talk about business what do you like about it?
