Pathways2Success Internship Program

In the Pathways2Success Internship program, students work an unpaid job a minimum of 80 minutes per day in a career field of interest.  The purpose of this program is to allow students to gain experience in a career field that will most likely become a field of study in a post-secondary school setting.  Through this experience, students will learn work habits, appropriate working attitudes, company cultures, gain an understanding of the various jobs in a specific industry, and stimulate continued interest in further education.  Each Internship student is assessed on their field experience through site visits by the Pathways Coordinator, frequent communication, and assessments with the student’s supervisor and through online class assignments.  The ultimate goal of the internship is to provide meaningful job placement in the industry the student plans to study through post-secondary education.

Students who are interested in an internship for one or two semesters during junior and/or senior year can visit the Prospective Interns link to learn more about applying.

Employers who are looking to learn more about the Internship Program, the role of the intern and mentor and the requirements of the program should visit the For Employers page or contact Jill Hackman (
