Ethan Martin – Construction Co-Op

My name is Ethan Martin and I am currently in the Pathways to Success program at Garden Spot High School. After the second block, I get to go to work at my current employer, Brecknock Township which is located on 897 in Fivepointvile.

My job duties vary day to day. My job title is road crew member and some of those job duties include paving, replacing pipes from flooding or just from being old, seed and stabilize dirt areas, fixing storm drains, mowing around the township building, plowing snow, and anything else that has to do with keeping the roads safe for drivers.

As I said before I am currently working at Brecknock township but do not plan to stay there long. I am starting a new job at Haines and Kibblehouse working in the communications department. I will be doing anything from swapping phones for employees, replacing the screens, to installing cameras and setting up job trailers.

Working for Brecknock Township has taught me that hard work does pay off and doesn’t go unnoticed. I’ve learned a lot about hands-on work that will greatly help me in the future. I can’t wait to start my new job at Haines and Kibblehouse doing what I’ve always wanted to do.
