About Mrs. Noyes

Greetings! My name is Mrs. Noyes (rhymes with boys) and you can remember how to spell it because it looks like No- yes.

I have been teaching Garden Spot students since 2003. I have taught 4th, 5th, 6th, and 3rd grades.

I earned my BS Elem.Ed. from Penn State University. I earned my Master’s in Education in 2012 from Eastern Mennonite University, and in 2017 earned a Math Coach endorsement from Immaculata.

I grew up in a Pennsylvania Dutch area of Montgomery County PA, so many things in Lancaster County are very familiar. I attended Penn State University, where I met Mr. Noyes while participating in a small concert band (he plays trombone and I play flute). We married and moved to Lancaster County.  We have two sons, Kevin and Nathan, who are both married. We have had several pets over the years –a dog, another dog, a hamster, a couple fish, and a cat. We are currently pet-less, but frequently dog-sit Nathan’s dog, Niko. And best of all, we get to spend time with our grandson Simeon.

In my spare time (when I am not doing school work, or visiting our parents or our children) I love to read, figure out math puzzles, go to car shows with my dad, ride bicycle (on flat trails or roads) with my husband, and play my flute

I am looking forward to getting to know you and your family this year!
