She was also scared because in the past a bear had came in and she had to throw a book at the bear for it to go away. And the bear left but it took the book. In the story it says that if the bear intends to eat her she wouldn’t let that happen without a fight with the bear, so she decided to throw the book she was reading at the bear. Miss Franny was acting all embarrassed because she thought a dog on it’s hind legs was a bear. And Miss Franny even screamed bear out loud in the library.
