Weather Reporters

This week we wrapped up our learning for Language Arts Module 4.  We studied aspects of the weather and had the task of educating our school community about the weather and how to prepare as well as safety procedures.  Each day we had a student weather reporter who prepared and practiced a weather report to share the high and low temperature, wind speed, precipitation and sky conditions.  The reporter read the report to our class and then updated a weather map and temperature chart.

Reading groups also read books which focused on a specific type of severe weather. They created a poster to share safety precautions with our school.  These posters were shared with our class and are hanging in the hallway near the bathrooms so all Brecknock students and adults can be warned about severe weather.
