Ayden Naranjo – Marketing Internship

My name is Ayden Naranjo, I am a Senior at Garden Spot High School. This fall I have gotten the opportunity to work at a marketing company out in Lancaster City. This has provided me with the chance to get real-world experience in the profession I hope to pursue one day.

I am an intern at Weber Advertising and Marketing out in Lancaster. There I am a graphic design artist. I get to learn new skills and techniques that will help me grow my profession one day. During this internship, I am able to use my creativity to create advertisements for companies that I see every day. It taught me how to use different programs such as Adobe Indesign and Adobe Illustrator to create the best possible ad for a company. Being able to be creative and create things that you know people will see and be interested in, makes me proud of what I can accomplish.

At my internship, I get to work on projects for different companies that I have used in a personal sense before. I am currently working on a project for the Reamstown Fire Department, as well as Kubota Tractors. I also help make deliveries to some of the other jobs we do. Getting to interact with clients and other co-workers really helps prepare me for what I want to pursue in life as a career.

In all my experience at Weber Advertising and Marketing is truly an amazing opportunity. It allows me to get real-world working experience with real companies and clients, helping me find what I want to do in life. I’m grateful for the opportunity.
