Hi Trinity,
I love your Diamante poem! I love penguins but I must ask, what are rock hoppers? You and me have the same hobbies for the blogging challenge! While I was browsing your blog, I saw that you do every single activity for the blogging challenge. My teacher says that we only have to do one. What sports do you play besides basketball? Write me back at: http://blogs.csdvt.org/taylork/
Taylor
Thanks Taylor,
a rock hopper penguin is one of the smaller penguins. It’s about 22 inches. They have reddish eyes, pink feet, and orange beaks. If want to know more got to http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/birds/rockhopper-penguin/ . Recently I’ve only played basketball for a team. Another sport I’ve tried is soccer, and when there’s teams for volleyball I will probably try it.
Hi Trinity,
My name is Mrs Pratt and I am your student blogging challenge mentor from Australia.
I thought your diamante poem was very evocative – it really built a picture in my mind’s eye, so well done!

Thanks Mrs. Pratt,
my opinion is that diamante poems are really fun to do because you don’t have to rhyme words you just have to describe the first word then put a synonym at the end. And they look really neat because they form a diamond/rhombus.
