My virtual pet is a dog named Bailey. She loves to jump on the trampoline because she is very active. Bailey also likes sitting on her favorite rock in the middle of the yard. Her favorite treat is fruits, so she normally eats a fruit salad ( not an actual salad just all kinds of fruit mixed together). Her favorite instrument to play is the drums because she likes to pound on things. And because these things will probably make her tired she’ll need water.

The Pennsylvania climate change affects many things. It even affects us as humans because our climate keeps rising in heat. By 2050 it will be 5.4 degrees more than it was in 2000. Think about it if it was 2100 it would be 10.8 degrees more than it was in 2000, and if it kept going on and on and on imagine how hot it would be! The heat will and could create more air-borne diseases such as Lyme disease. More pests will come and can reduce the number of crops such as sweet corn and Concord grapes.

The climate change can also affect cows from producing milk because of heat stress.The climate change can also make trees and plants vanish from our state because of the different weather. That could happen to trees like sugar maple trees. Also lots of animals could loose their habitats including birds. It could have more of a chance to have weather conditions like floods. A place I love that we should protect is Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach is located on the southeast coast in the United States in South Carolina. A reason why we need to protect Myrtle Beach is because the ocean is polluted. Some people don’t care about the ocean and just throw their trash in the ocean. Even if they throw it right on the shore it’ll eventually get out deeper and deeper. That’s a problem because let’s say someone threw a plastic bag in the water and a sea turtle comes along most likely the Sea Turtle will think it’s a jellyfish and eat it.

Eating the plastic bag is obviously bad for the Sea Turtle, and it’s the same with other animals in the ocean. Think about it if we keep polluting any animal could think it’s food and they may not survive. Not only does it affect animals it affects us. It affects us because lots of people including me love swimming in the ocean, and the pollution isn’t only bad for animals. We don’t accidentally eat the pollution, but there is still water pollution that by just going in the ocean we could get sick.

The most common water pollution is gastrointestinal. Gastrointestinal is from bacteria and virus. Myrtle beach also has problems with their climate. It has problems with the climate because last year in 2015 they had a major flood. Because of the flood people in Myrtle Beach had to time their time they spent on the beach. And even though it already happened it could happen again. To learn more about the erosion click here.
