I believe that kids should not worry about deforestation. These are the reasons why I have that opinion.
If this so called “deforestation” continues at its current rate, it will take less than 100 years to destroy all rain forests on earth. That’s acceptable because most people don’t survive up to 100 years old.
An estimated 18 million acres of the world’s forests are destroyed every 365 days. That’s close to the size of South Carolina! Well, South Carolina isn’t that big, and the more I cut, the more I get $payed$ ?. And if I stopped, I would kiss my job goodbye.
Even though forests cover about 30% of the earth’s land, and hold 70% of the world’s plants and animals, there are other plants. And there are other animals on Earth.
That is why kids should not worry about deforestation.
