What would you do if you found out your family was a family of spies? Well this story will tell you about a girl who learns what being a part of a family of spies feels like! And how to become a spy!

When Ava woke up the next morning she went to training, and told her parents that she wants to go with them on their mission. When they were on the way to their mission they heard a loud “BANG”!!

They stopped, and then they turned around and saw that somebody had fallen off the balcony. They went to help him and they called an ambulance luckily the man survived. So they went to talk to him.

When they were done talking to him they caught the guy and put him in jail. After that Ava was the best spy you have ever seen. She kept her grades up and turned into a good spy by arresting 30 people in 1 year!

10,000 Hours or Screen Media?

The article “How Does Your Child’s Screen Time Measure Up?” And the video “10,000 Hours To Become Great.” Explains that too much screen time is bad for you. And that in 10,000 hours you can master a skill.

“How Does Your Child’s Screen Time Measure Up?”. Tells you that if you are on your screen media all the time that it is not good for your health and for your grades. Also that if you are on very long then you would be on it forever, and never keep track of how long you are on, you would be on forever until your parents yell at you for being on for 6 or 7 hours. And you won’t learn anything by playing/watching screen media.

“10,000 Hours To Become Great.” Tells you that if you work on something for 10,000 hours you will become great at it or mastered that skill. If you work on something for 10,000 hours you would want to like what you are working on and put in the work doing it. If you are successful you will get somewhere in life.

A conclusion that you can make is that if you are on screen media all the time, you would not be able to do the 10,000 hours. Because you would be on screen media all the time and you would never get anywhere with the 10,000 hours. Even if you did you would only get 30 minutes to an hour done a day! So please try to stay off of screen media, and work on the 10,000 hours to become a master at a skill.

About My Weekend!!

My weekend was full of fun! We watched the Penn State game on Saturday, and saw that they crushed Pitt 51-6! I also had softball practice on Saturday too. I learned I can throw the farthest on my softball team! Also on Saturday my brother had a football game against Manheim Township, it was cold but my brothers team won 7-6! It rained most of Saturday which made his game hard to play, and hard to watch because it was really cold and rainy.ew

Sunday I woke up at 7:48 A.M. Then I went to LCBC my church. Then I came back home and me and my brother went downstairs and played wall ball. Then we went to watched the NY Giants play the Jaguars. NY lost lost to the Jaguars, 15-20. Then my family played skip bo. My brother won the first round and I won the second round. Then we watched some TV before we went to bed. My name is Courtney, my birthday is October 24th 2006. I have 1 brother (Cody) who is 9 and in 4th grade and 0 sisters. I have 3 pets 2 dogs Daisy, and Mater, and a cat named Precious. I have 2 hobbies, Softball and Gymnastics. My favorite subject is science, my least favorite subject is social studies/history. The skill I’m the best at is math. 3 things I love is guinea pigs, my friends, and the Amulet series. If my family was a noise it would sound like drums a lot of drums! The smell that best described my home is flowers. Three things I fear are rattlesnakes, family death, and history tests.

If the world would be made of food it would taste like a meatball because, meatballs are round like the world, and it is a food. An animal I resemble is a cat I am quiet and calm. The color that describes how I usually feel is Orange I am energetic and happy/excited. If I could have whatever I want I would want $100,000,000,000,000. If I could live wherever I wanted I would live in Paris because it is so pretty and gorgeous looking. At this point I would grade my life as an A. If I could tell my teacher anything about me I would tell them I’m good at math. If I could bring 3 people from the past it would be my grandmother, Harriet Tubman, and Ruby Bridges.

After Ava was done screaming she looked around and saw a lot of dangerous equipment that she never saw before. Her parents gave her a tour of the place so she knew where everything was. When they were done they started training Ava.

Ava was excited to start but she was nervous too, if she used the equipment wrong then she could hurt herself or somebody else really badly. Ava got the hang of it in about 2 hours. Then they left at 4:00 P.M. Ava was excited to go the next day!

When they got home Ava went to her room and her parents came with her and they had a long conversation. About if Ava liked her training and if she wants to go tomorrow and if she would want to go on a mission with them on Monday. Ava had to think really hard. What would she say?
