       The first Thanksgiving was many years ago.There were Pilgrims and Native Americans.They grew and ate beans, spinach, carrots, cabbage,lettuce,onions and maybe peas together.They grew all the corn just with fish planted under the corn.The Native Americans help the Pilgrims plant the crops with the fish under them.

      They all worked together to have the feast.The first Thanksgiving was on 4th Thursday of November 1621.They had the feast in Autumn.The first Thanksgiving was created by the Pilgrims and Native Americans.  If they didn’t know each other there wouldn’t be a Thanksgiving.The Pilgrims and Native Americans had the first Thanksgiving for 3 days.The food of the first Thanksgiving was chessnuts, lobster, leeks, dried fruit, chicken, honey, rabbit, maple syrup, and other foods.

      They had the first Thanksgiving in the Plymouth. The first Thanksgiving wasn’t a holiday or tradition until 200 years later.It wasn’t just a normal feast it was a three day festival with hunting and entertainment.There was no turkey at the first Thanksgiving or pumpkin pie or even potatoes!The Pilgrims and Native Americans didn’t plan on having another Thanksgiving any time after.They ate cranberries but they ate it plain not in a saucer.
