I read “In Cold Blood” by Arthur Miller and I thought it was a very good read. Although the ending was kind of slow, it was worth it as Miller did a great job of setting the plot. He was very descriptive when it came to both the appearances of the characters and town, but also the character’s thoughts and emotions and how this influenced the people around them. I also loved how Miller changed perspectives throughout the book. He never just wrote from one person’s perspective, but rather from multiple. This allowed for the reader to understand the viewpoints of not only the victims but the killers as well. Miller also writes about the investigation process and the prosecution, which I found very interesting. Overall, it was definitely a great read with lots of interesting viewpoints, and I recommend it to anyone who likes mystery or has an interest in psychology. For my project I will be creating promotional advertising for the book.
