Franklin D Roosevelt was born on January 30, 1882.  He was the 32nd president. Died April 12th 1945.  Most famous quote “The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.’”

The reason we think Franklin Roosevelt was one of the greatest presidents is because, he helped America get through World War II, and the Great Depression.  The way he helped in the Great Depression is he made something called the New Deal.  The New Deal is a series of social programs that was in the United States between 1933, and 1938.

Franklin Roosevelt, or FDR as he liked to be called, had a dog that was almost as famous as him.  His dog’s name was Fala, she loved attention.  

Franklin died of Interracial Hemorrhage, a stroke.  Before, he was in a wheelchair because his legs were paralyzed.  We remember him today as one of the greatest presidents.     Most information from google.   J M via Compfight
