   What an intriguing start to your story! I think my students would love to have a go at continuing your story, especially as we don’t get snow here, unless we live in the mountains!

   run out side and got my ladder l put it up on the ground and climb up wen l got to the top l saw something

   and Cody got up and screamed at his mum with fear and his mum said it is white snow it doesn’t hurt you.

   ran out side and got a ladder. He climbed the ladder and saw something he tried to grab it. He hit something he hit it and it fell to the ground. He climbed down and saw what it was it was a snow machine. Cody ran in side and told his mum. The end

   His mum and said what is that white flaky stuff outside.That is snow, what is snow, snow is a kind of ice. ohh ok the fox trotted off to his room, but his mum called out tea time.

   Cody started stepping on the strange stuff he said interesting I wonder what the heat might do to the weird stuff. he took a bag and put it on the ground the wind blue some of the weird stuff went in the bag. when he went inside he got a pan and put the stuff in the pan and put it over the fire it turned into water he said I know what it is: its snow.

   screamed at a butter fly just gliding through the sky and then suddenly a guy appeared trying to catch that butter fly the fox tried to convince the guy to stop trying to catch the butter fly but he did not listen he kept trying and trying but he just could not catch it. It was way to fast for him. Then the fox ran inside to get a plastic bag to catch the fly and rescue it he quickly caught the butter fly and ran inside to show it to his mum so she could see if the guy had done any damage to the poor animal then the foxes mum and him went outside to set it free.

   outside by sneaking out of the door. That white stuff was cold and wet. Then Cody saw two humans talking to each other then Cody heard one of them say this snow is pretty cold and wet then Cody thought it has to be snow

   We just had snow over the weekend and it is Spring! We didn’t get a lot. So we couldn’t really play in it.
