Veterans Day is a special day that happens November Eleventh every year, and here is a joke, when you white the month with slashes, in 2011, it would be 11/11/11. Did you know that the word Half Staff means half of the flagpole when it is on the presidents coffin. Also, did you know that two hundred million veterans have died from war. Veterans Day is important because we, us people are showing respect the veterans, did you know that the American Flag should never touch the ground, because it means we are disrespecting the flag.
