I love tiger Rising it has has a lot of imagery and specific details. I really can feel Rob’s emotions throughout the book like when Rob’s dad shot the tiger I really felt the pain in his words. It has a great turning point at the end of the book when he let his suitcase open up it was just such a emotional point of the book for Rob. Willie May helped Rob a lot with opening Rob’s suitcase like when she said in Chapter 25 page 96 paragraph 8 “Let me tell you something, she said. I would love to see this tiger rise on up out of this cage.” When I read the book myself I felt like I had a better understanding of it, Then when someone read it to me I just didn’t get it. It is a great book for our age and a great book to read with a class or small groups. I think that this book is a 4.8 star review. Enjoy the book!
