The Cree Native Amercian

    Cree Native Americans

My name is Isaac and I am in The Cree, and I am a Native American.  The Cree is one of the largest groups of the first nations in North America with over 200,000!! members living in Canada. There was a lot of members.

First I went to Canada. The major proportion of Cree in Canada live North and west of Lake Superior, in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Albert and the Northwest Territories. A lot live in Quebec, 38,000. When I was in the U.S, I saw the Algonquian-speaking people.

I asked one of them, “Where do  you live?”. One of them said, “We historically lived from Lake Superior Westward”. “Now we mostly live in Montana. “Where we share a reservation with the Ojibwe. I said, “Ok”

“The documented Westward migration over time has been strongly associated with their roles.” “As traders and hunters in the North American fur trade”, one of the members said. That’s amazing! I left off to look for food.

“Well, the cree are generally divided into eight equal groups based on dialect and region”, I said to myself.  “I guess I am going to have to find some shelter and food and water and go on with my life.” The End.
