Thanksgiving

Traditions

By Elise

My Thanksgiving is at my Grandparents house and all of my Aunts and Uncles come to my grandparents house and two of my uncles have to pick up my aunt because she lives in New York and so she doesn’t have  a car because she rides the bus every day.  Also my family comes and my cousin.

We first all go through the house checking out who is there to welcome them because some of them have come from other places and they don’t get to come to my grandparent’s house very often.  I get to because they are only a couple of miles away from my house.  Sometimes my Aunt from New York comes and gives all of the kids a gift and they are, I, my baby brother, older brother and my cousin.

Usually I like to go into the kitchen and check out what all of the adults are making for the Thanksgiving.  Also sometimes I get to have some of the stuff that they are making and I usually get some of the cheese on the table.

When my family comes everyone welcomes us and especially my baby brother because they think that he is so cute, and I do to!  There is a lot of people that are there so there is always a lot of things that everybody is doing, like playing games, watching the Thanksgiving parade on TV and other things like baking stuff for the feast that we have.  Many things are going on so there is always a lot of excitement and fun!!!
