Light & Crisp (Winter Poem)
Light & Crisp By Elise
Every single morning,
Wake up every time.
The light crunch of the falling,
After days of Summertime.
Go outside,
See all the frost.
Know your pride,
See all it’s costs.
Lightly step,
Feel the breeze,
Start to prep,
Put on skis.
Quickly slide,
Across the white,
Soon you’ll find your glide,
So start to take your flight.
As you hear the crisp,
Feel all light and free,
Of the daytime winter wisps.
It takes you happily!
