This article was about whether or not the “american dream” is still alive today. The author feels that it is no longer achievable due to racism, socioeconomic inequalities, and a lack of acceptance of various opinions. I agree with this as the violence towards other races seems to have increased recently. Also, with immigration laws it is difficult to even enter America to try and achieve the “american dream”. Two questions I have are: Do you think the American Dream is still achievable? And what do you think is the greatest hurdle people face when trying to achieve the American Dream?
