Intruder Drills at Our School – Week 4

At our school we practice for intruder drills. We have to practice so we will stay safe.We practice this drill twice a school year.  Here are the steps that we follow for an intruder drill.

1. Mr. McCaskey our principal or our teacher says that we are going to have an intruder drill.

2. We go to the cubbies where our backpacks and sit in the cubbies or crouch on the floor

3. We wait QUIETLY for directions.

•   If there was really an intruder we would go out the door to the cornfield and run across it to the Sportsman Shop. Once in a while we walk across the cornfield with our teachers.
