Ecuador is a wonderful place, but when you are lost it isn’t pretty. I wen’t down to Ecuador for the first time with a member of our church. He’s a missionary. The first day we got to Ecuador we just The mountains are amazing! Then the next month was a working month. What we do down in Ecuador is work in the dump and the nursery. One day I was on my own. I was supposed to help out in the dump. There was only one problem, I had no clue where the dump was. A lady came up to me and said, “Hola.”What is that supposed to mean! I was trying to to talk to her to see if she knew English, because she may have thought that I was Spanish. I said, “Where can I find the dump?” The lady made a really weird face at me. I then found out then that she does not know English. Ding! A light bulb just wen’t off in my head, I had a brilliant idea! I thought maybe I could find a deaf person and do sign language with them. About two hours have passed and I could not find any deaf people! Help! I yelled in my head.

  1. Hi Janae, it’s me Abby ! I found 2 or 3 mistakes in this writing piece, but they weren’t really big ones. First when you were writing you didn’t put any indents between when the lady and you were talking. Second of all when you said “What is that supposed to mean !” Were you supposed to be talking to the lady ? You also forgot to put a question mark there. Besides that you did a VERY good job n your writing, grammar, and punctuation. Please read and comment more on my blog. Here is the URL http://blog.elanco.org/forre5yz/ Happy blogging Janae !?
