Big Cat Habitat & Gulf Coast Sanctuary Jim Mullhaupt via Compfight

Ligers are a cross between two different species of big cats, a female tiger, and a male lion.  Ligers like swimming like tigers, and they are very social like lions.  Ligers are only in captivity because scientist don’t know if they should be put in tiger environment or lion environment.

Ligers are the biggest cat in the world.  Ligers have faint stripes and have a lion color.  The longest living liger lived to be 24 years old.  Ligers reach a total length of 3 to 3.6 m, they are larger than Siberian tigers.  In the wild a Tiger’s favorite food is Deer and Wild Boar but Ligers will eat large and small mammals and including fish, frogs and crabs and some vegetation such as grass.

This was a great post it had a lot of interesting facts about ligers and there physical features. But not every time you look up information go into the wiki because it can give you some false information.
