Is Deforestation a Problem Kids Should Worry About?

Do you think kids should worry about deforestation?  My opinion is that kids should worry about deforestation because…  Deforestation is when humans cut down trees and there population goes down by a huge bit, that is terrifying!  This is why I think kids should worry about deforestation.

First, kids should worry about deforestation especially in the rainforest because, more than 2,000 of the 3,000 identified plants with cancer fighting properties grow only in rainforests and that is very important.  So if humans keep cutting down trees it might be too late if someone has cancer.

Next,  I think that kids should worry about deforestation because if deforestation continues at its current rate, it will less than 100 years to destroy all the rainforests on earth that would be a disaster!  So if we keep cutting down the rainforests we might have not as good air to breath than in the past, that is horrible!
Last, I think that some people will disagree with this because farmers need land for crops and for their livestock and other things like that.  One other reason people would disagree because people need land to build buildings.  As I mentioned, deforestation is a issue kids should worry about so if we want a good future care about the environment!
