Week 3 Blog Challenge: The Game I got $50 for!

I was asked one day to make a game from the company called, Games Provided for Younger people,  (GPY) It could be any game I wanted, but it couldn’t be or look like a game that was already made. I thought at first this is going to beyond over the rainbow hard, you know cause it can’t be or look like a game that has already been made. First, The name, Dun, Dun, Dun. Just kidding the name is the easiest part, hmm? What should the name be, DING, I’ve got the perfect name. The name of my game will be called splits like as in bananas. Ok next the supplies, I am going to need, paint, cardboard, little stilts (to put under the cardboard), and sharpies to make the game pieces and the actual board game parts. Now, all I have to do is put it all together, but how. As I wash drawing the game pieces the sharpie marker went, Squeak, Squeak. I couldn’t stand that noise. The when I was hot gluing pieces together to make it perfect the hot glue gun decided to squeal loudly and furiously as the glue gun could. It was 2 in the morning when I finished the game and I was, so tired. Then this is when it all changed for me. I had the game in my bedroom, so that my dog wouldn’t destroy it. Then, ring, ring, bzzz, bzzz. I got a phone call at 2:30 in the morning from GPY about the board game I made. They said, “We will buy your game for $50 no less and no more than that, and they will duplicate it for free” I was literally freaking out. They also, said that it will be in stores for $10 or less depending on workmanship. Finally this was the day that I made a board game for GPY and they bought it for $50 and even duplicated it. Then, on Friday at 12:00 I got another call stating that my board game will be $10 in stores because it was beyond amazing.

WARNING

This is just a fun and fictional story of how I got $50 for a board game I made.

Another family fun place that is also, historical is, Number two: Valley Forge and Valley Forge National Historic park, These two can be entertaining if you like parks and history or just one or the other. Another thing about this is it is the national symbol for the American Revolutionary War. Finally the third one: The White House: The White House is the most popular place to visit because, of course it’s where the president lives.
