What is the Creative Academy?

The creative academy is a  home school but Jake thinks it is more like a unschool.

He has to go there because no other school in his home state will take him. He can not go to any other school because they think that he burned down the school.

Why does E.D. think she is different than the other Applewhites?

All the other Applewhites have things that they are really good at but E.D. does not think that she has something that is really good at. I think in the end of the book E.D. will find the thing that she is good at.

Wet slobber is on my head. “Me out” I said. Well after that I looked up only to see light. Oh No! I thought. This is the dogs cave isn’t it? I see millions of dogs ready to tear me…

I want to be a monkey because monkeys look cool. I want to be a monkey because if I was a monkey I could be sneaky and steal food, candy, drinks. Also, I would want to be a monkey because monkeys are really good at swinging on vines or swinging from tree to tree. Another reason is that monkeys can be really good at at speaking. Well not speaking in human language, but speaking monkey language. Finally I would want to be a monkey because they seem really interesting because people seem to always be looking at them when they are at the zoo or

I want to be a sea turtle because sea turtles spend most of their time in water. Also, I would want to be a sea turtle because I love sea turtles. Some sea turtles are 1 million years of age or older. I would love to see the world evolve through the years that I’ve been alive. I would love to just be noticed and sea turtles cannot retract their heads or limbs so when I’m scared I have to face my threat. Finally, I would like to be a sea turtle because their color varies.

If I were to be an animal I would want to be a monkey, but I wouldn’t want to be caged in and be forced to put on shows. Another reason why I would want to be caged in is that I wouldn’t live the life I lived before and, then I wouldn’t act like myself I would act probably like a caged in monkey. I wouldn’t really like people that passed my cage every day because I would not want fingerprints all of my cage or old nasty food that I won’t eat in my cage. I would want to be a sea turtle, but I wouldn’t want to be caged (in an aquarium)  and be forced to do tricks of people to watch. I wouldn’t like to be in a small cage (aquarium) I would want to be in the wild  not in captivity. I wouldn’t be able to do what I want I would have to do what I’m trained to do. Also, If I didn’t live up to what the people paid for I would be euthanized or given to another zoo.

What will America be like without a voting system? I think that America would be hectic without a voting system because then we wouldn’t be able to vote who was president.Then there might not even be a president anymore because how are we supposed to vote if America doesn’t have a voting system to vote. I think that America would be a huge mess because without a voting system America wouldn’t be able to pick a senator, president, governor, etc.  If we didn’t have the voting system we would be fighting all the time about who should be our president. We don’t need any more violence in the U.S so we need the voting system.

I think that it would be hectic because without a president the world would be crazy because their would be no laws and rules for America. Also, if there was no voting system there wouldn’t be decent presidents. Another thing is if we didn’t have a voting system then we wouldn’t have one president we will have more than one or there would be a lot of fighting and who is running who is not because there would be no votes. Another reason is there might be a lot more deaths because there might be fights on who is running for president. This is why we think that America would be hectic and crazy without a voting system to figure out who will be running for president.

Finally, I think that America would be a very busy time of year because when it comes to election time there would be so many people pushing other people and yelling and screaming so people can hear and see who is talking. Also if America didn’t  have the voting system would be very very loud because of people yelling and screaming for attention about who they think should be president.   

Hello, I’m back with some famous breaking news and my name is Gabriella. Yesterday, February 4th 2016 there was a huge tsunami which flooded the town leaving us with nothing. As I said before there had been a tsunami yesterday and it measured 20ft high not what we were wishing for. Families are trying to find shelters while others in other countries are safe and sound. How fair does that sound? To me really unfair, but do they care?Probably not if they are all snuggled up in their beds while watching t.v. I mean we would give a care in the world for them instead of being snug in our beds that we don’t have because they got washed away in the tsunami that measured 20ft high! Anyway today is cloudy with a chance of… Ok test results say jelly belly jelly beans! Ha Ha just kidding it is actually cloudy with a chance of rain. We would summarize “How to Become a United States Presidential Candidate” by using, somebody, wanted, but ,so, then method. Somebody is the main character or characters in the story. Wanted is what the main character wants in the story. But is what happens to make what the main character wanted go down hill and ruined. So is when the main character or another character in the story makes it better for them so then they can have what they wanted. Then is what happens at the end which is usually a good thing that happens to the main character.

Presidential Candidates wanted to be a president. But, they have to go down a long road to become president. So, they had to be chosen by a political party. Then, the Presidential Candidate who has the most votes gets to be the president. It is difficult to become a presidential candidate. After they have the votes that they want to have, the candidate who has the most votes wins!

This is how we summarize “How To become a United States Candidate” by using the somebody, wanted, but, so, then method. This method helps us to summarize the passage in our own words. This is one way to summarize the passage in our own words. Also, you can summarize a different way by getting the most important details  from the passage and putting it in your own ideas, thoughts and writing about the passage when you are summarizing any passage you are reading.  

I was at the beach with my family and dog. Our dog likes to swim, so I was swimming with her and all of a sudden lightning stuck down on the ocean. I went under right away for some reason, but I held onto Molly so she could breath, I was looking for land. Finally I saw land and people. I was so excited I swam as quick as I could without leaving Molly behind. We finally got there and I noticed that it was just trees swaying back and forth. I made a fire for Molly and me, but I was mostly looking for something to build a shelter out o. The next day I was woke up by a stranger I didn’t even care who it was, so I got up to notice it was my mom and dad. There was even cops because they have been looking for me.

The best thing to do on a snow day is have a snowball fight. You can do this with your siblings or friends. Another thing to do on a snow day is make an igloo. You can also, do this with family or friends. These two things are the best things to do on a snow day. You don’t have to think the same as us, but if you were to that’s fine too. These two things are the best things to do on a snow day if you have siblings to do it with or even your friends that live close by.

First the best thing to do on a snow day is have a snowball fight with your siblings. This is one of the best things to do on a snow day because you can throw things at your siblings and then run to hide. Another reason is you get to make a fort and build snow balls for inside your fort. Finally this is one of the best because if you have an older brother/sister you get to team up on your younger siblings if you have any. These are some reasons why we think that having a snowball fight
The next  best thing to do is to make an igloo with your friends and family. Making an igloo can be challenging because you can easily knock it over or it can fall.  Another detail that this is one of the best things to do on a snow day is, that if you are having a snowball fight you can easily hide in the igloo and nobody will know that you’re there unless the beat you to it first. Next, if you have friends over you can pretend it’s a little hut that you’re hiding in from your siblings or even their siblings. As you can tell an igloo is a really good place to hide if you or friends are having a snowball fight or even hiding.
