what Happened on my field trip

Hi so my field trip was so much fun so i am going to tell you the 2 main things that we did!!

1, the museum, so the museum was my favourite part it had so many different things like a art room and an indian room my grandpa would have loved!! there were also little room that are meant to be old fashion stores and houses. my favorite part of the museum was the civil war area there were so many cool things!!

2, the capital, the capital was ok i did not like it that much but it was a little fun. it was weird because they scanned our lunches. so first we took a picture on the stairs under the rotunda it cool. after that we went to a room were we all sat and we could ask different questions about the capital. after a couple of minutes our tour guide came and we went to a couple of cool rooms. we even took a picture with some one from the house of representatives. that was really cool!!!!!

so that was my field trip it was soo much sun!! i am really glad my mom got to come because she made it really fun. know for a question have you gone on a field trip before if yes were did you go? thanks for reading bye!!

What is one of the “cool things” you remember from the Civil War exhibit? Pennsylvania is a great state for history. I have taken my students to Gettysburg. Maybe you will visit there one day, too. It is beautiful in early summer.

I am glad your mom was able to go and that you got SUBWAY!

Hi, Abigail! I was wondering where it was that you went on your trip, but I can draw conclusions from the other comments that you were at the Pennsylvania state capital. I went to college near there, and I thought it was a beautiful area.

I enjoyed your detail about enjoying the Civil War area and the one about them scanning your lunches! How wonderful that your mom got to go with you. That will always be a happy memory.

Our class is studying early American history, so to start the year we went to a very old-fashioned fair called the Tunbridge World’s Fair. There are exhibits about old machinery, how to make apple cider, being a blacksmith, an old schoolhouse, and many more. There are fun things like pig races and horse pulling. We loved the maple cotton candy. We read Charlotte’s Web to go along with this field trip too.

Hope your year continues to be full of adventure. Thank you for sharing your post.
