How does visual information help the reader to understand scientific and technical texts?

   Visual information helps the reader to understand scientific and technical texts by showing the information collected from the passage and making it into graphs and/or charts. Another way is that you could draw pictures and see how you organized it. Visual information also helps the reader when you see it in plots. Another way visual information helps the reader to understand scientific and technical texts is when you see it on time lines. The last way that visual information helps the reader to understand scientific and technical texts are by seeing dates.
 Visual information helps the reader to understand scientific and technical text by seeing it in nature if it involves water flowing etc. Another way visual information helps the reader to understand scientific and technical texts is by seeing it on scales. Visual information also helps the reader to understand scientific and technical texts by showing information from the passage in pie graphs. The last way visual information helps the reader to understand scientific and technical texts by graphics.

It helps you because you are able to see what the people or things in the story are doing. If you don’t know what asid is and you see a picture of this liquid you may be able to find out that is is rather that not knowing if you are just reading the words. I think it is very important that you see picture when you are reading anything.

 

Scientific texts may be a little harder to understand so that is 1 thing that could help you if you stumble along a word you never herd. In our class we have a book. In the book is, well WORDS!!! Some of the words are hard for me to read so it is nice to have the picture. The picture helps me find out

scientific and technical text!
