How do the themes in poetry help you gain deeper understanding of life in general? I think poetry is a good way of understanding life. I believe that life is a huge part of poetry. We are going to list a couple reasons to answer your question, How do the theme in poetry help you gain deeper understanding of life in general?

Themes in poetry can help the reader understand life better by once you read a poem, do you ever think you can do what’s in the poem. What I am trying to say here is once you know the theme of the poem you can use it in life. For example if the theme is never give up, than never give up in life. Almost every poem has a theme that can help you understand life or help you through life. Like with Will’s example having a theme that is “never give up, than never give up in life.” it will help you understand that yes some things are hard and you might want to give up but you shouldn’t because thing can and will  (possibly) get better and easier.

For this blog challenge we had to comment on other peoples blogs. There are some questions that I am going to answer! Hope this helps you out! What do you enjoy about commenting? What I enjoy about commenting is that you get to express yourself to other people on there story. I also enjoy how you get to interact with the people you are commenting about. For example if a person had an article on there summer, you can interact with them and compare you summer’s. Commenting really brings people together. What is annoying about commenting? The annoying thing about commenting is that if you accidentally hit the wrong button and it deletes it all you have to type it again. The other annoying thing is that if you do not what to write you can get stuck for a while. It happens to me a lot. How have you found interesting posts to comment on? Yes I have found a lot of interesting post to comment on. If you really look hard enough there is a lot of good educational post out there. I think you guys can also find a lot of good post too. Are your posts getting lots of quality comments, why or why not? Yes my post are getting a lot of quality comments. I think it depends on the topic I am writing about. If you are writing about a really good topic I think it will get a lot of quality comments on your post. Hello? Is anybody there? Everything just went black! I was walking the hallways of my school and all of the sudden it just went black. I was thinking to myself. Was it just a prank? Did the electricity grid go out? All of these questions running trough my mind. I couldn’t understand what was happening. I walked outside and saw a note on the ground. I picked it up and read it. “Dear reader, if you are reading this the electricity grid went out in your town. It was on purpose. I cut it out. Don’t worry it will be back on in 2 hours.” I walked back inside the school. I stuck the note in my pocket. I was walking up and down the hallway thinking, why did they put out the electricity grid? Until I saw a flashlight roll past me. “That’s weird” I said. I was thinking to myself. Let’s go pick it up because every creepy flashlight that rolls by you deserves an owner. I picked up the flash light and turned it on. Flick, flick, it turned on after about 10 tries. An hour goes by and nothing is happening. I have been wondering the halls and my flash light is about to die. Another hour goes by. “I thought the note said in 2 hours it will come back on!” I shouted. The next couple minutes the power got back on. I still wondered why I was in school. I checked the calendar and saw it was a Saturday! “Wait how did I get her if no one dropped me off?” I questioned.

Today I am going to be answering three questions. How does the encounter with the Nazi soldiers on the way home from school affect Annemarie? How would it make you feel to be in a similar situation? Is it hard to even imagine? Let’s get right into answering the questions.
How does the Nazi soldiers on the way home from school affect Annemarie? I think the Nazi soldiers affected them by I think it scared Annemarie. When Annemarie was running down the sidewalk with Ellen the soldiers stopped them. The soldier got in Annemarie’s face and I think she got scared. I also think she got nervous from the tension of the soldier. How would it make you feel to be in a similar situation? I think it would also make me feel nervous and scared. If I was in a situation like this I would be scared out of my mind. My worst fear is probably getting in trouble by a military person. I would also be nervous because I would know what to do. Is it hard to even imagine? Yes it is hard to imagine because it is just scary to imagine that seeing a Nazi soldier right in front of my face. Especially if it is a Nazi soldier in your face. I hope you enjoyed my questions. Please tell me your opinion.

How does visual information help the reader to understand scientific and technical texts?

Visual text helps you understand scientific text and technical text by showing you what they mean in the text. If you are reading something you have never read about or heard about in science it would help you understand the text easier if there were pictures and/or captions. When you read something complicated it would help you understand the text if there was pictures or diagrams.

When reading scientific and technical texts what they are saying maybe hard to understand so having some type of visual information will show what they are saying. This really helps visual learners because they mainly learn from any visual information in the text they’re reading.  

When you are reading scientific text and technical text and you are a visual learner it would definitely help you understand what they are saying by seeing a diagram or a picture and caption so you could understand the text more. If your science book is teaching you about Earth’s layers and you never heard of any of the layers. You didn’t know which order they went in it would be easier for the reader to understand if they had a diagram and or a picture and caption.

When you are reading scientific text and technical text the visual information helps you by figuring out the definition. As an example if you don’t know what the mantle it might show you the definition under the diagram. Another example is if you are reading about plate tectonics and it shows you a picture of the plates moving in a different direction and it could have a caption to tell you what it is showing in the diagram.

Food is every where. No matter where you will find food and all of these food’s are different. I will be telling you the famous food’s in the United States of America. The first item on my list is hamburgers or cheeseburgers. An average American eats about 3 hamburgers or cheeseburgers in a week! Americans eat 13 million hamburgers or cheeseburgers every year. Hot dogs are also a famous food in america. An average American eats 50 hot dogs each year. Hot dogs are known to be famous on 4th of July. On 4th of July about 50 million hot dogs are eaten. That’s a lot of hot dogs on one day! The next food on the list is french fries. About 4 million french fries are eaten by an American each year. I never have thought that maybe a fast food would be on the list. Next item on the shopping list is pizza. Believe or not 94% of Americans eat pizza on a average basis. That is a lot of people eating pizza. If someone can do the math please say what it is in the comments. Last but not least, chicken is eaten by a lot of Americans. In America we this sport called football. On one day of the year we have football a championship called the Super Bowl. About 1.15 billion chicken wings are eaten by Americans. I think that is way too much. Of course there is more food on the list, but I am going to stop there. Thank for listening to the top foods in America.

“Come in, come in! This is Commander Squash from planet Mars. I am currently over the planet Earth!” Command Squash reported to mission control. “Yes this is mission control, tell me what you see Commander!” “Ok I’ll tell you all the unique things about this planet called, E-a-r-t-h? Well to start, this planet is full of animals and living things. It is crazy that these living things walk on 2 tentacles! These living things also have 2 tentacles that are near their upper body. This planet has season’s just like us, except they don’t have rocks falling from the sky. My info say’s the planet has four seasons summer, spring, fall, and winter. Most of these living things don’t like winter, I don’t know why. I think it’s something with the weather. Anyway, this planet has a lot cultures on it. All of this living things are different. Maybe one group of living things listen to hip – hop and the other group listens to pop. That what I mean by a culture. This planet also has many different attractions. For example they have this huge wall that is called The Great Wall Of China. Oh I forgot this planet has a lot of transportation in it. Some living things ride a box with wheels, while others ride animals. This made me think of the cultures on how they are different. I have also been zooming into the planet and the weather changes a lot. One side of the planet might have rain and the other side might have snow. It’s weird how that works. I have also been zooming into living things conversation’s. I’ve learned that some speak different languages. This also might relate to the culture thing. I don’t even know how you would do that. I could be never able do that. I have also been looking at their technology. It’s okay, but not as good as ours. At least it’s better than Jupiter’s. I mean Jupiter can do better than that. OMG! I just noticed this planet is filled with colors. It’s not just green and blue. If you look closely you’ll see all kinds of colors. This relates to my next reason why this planet is unique. These colors come from different regions. Yup that’s right this planet has all different types of regions. Why I say regions I mean mountains, deserts, and rainforest. All of that stuff. I was surprised this planet is so cool! That’s all the unique things I have about Earth. Did you get that, mission control?” Said Commander Squash. “Could you repeat that?” questioned mission control.

I am going to be doing the zoom game from blog challenge week five! This is how the game goes. First, you post a picture. You can start the first comment or someone else can. The first comment should zoom out of the picture. Meaning you have to make up a sentence on what is outside of the picture. So if you are doing a keyboard you can say it is on a desk. This keeps on going until it can be stopped. If you are not the first comment then it has to relate to the comment above yours. The first comment has to relate to the picture. Lets see how far we can get!

I have just watched a video on creative commons on the blog challenge. It was very interesting. I have learned that anything that you make is copyrighted. You can allow people to edit, sell it or just share on the internet. There are special license for types of copyright. Some allow people to edit it and some do not. Without your permission people cannot advertise your work. You can also share a license. This is called share alike. Share alike is where you can share your license with someone else. You can also say you want your work advertise the company advertising it can pay you for letting them use your work. There are really bad consequences if you do copyright. You can pay fine to facing time in prison. Like I said without your permission no one can use your work. That was the video that I watched and what it was about.
