Lisa had been playing in adolescent socer for years now, but this game against the Leviathans seemed to be quite challenging. She scrutinized the field as she struggled to find a tactic. Players flanked Lisa, obscuring her view of her teammates. She continued running with the ball at foot, as her hope slowly depleted. The girl to the right of Lisa kicked the ball out from Lisa’s reach. In doing so the girl struck Lisa’s ankle, causing her to tumble. Instantly Lisa’s teammates ran to her side as she clutched he leg in pain. The referee threw his red flag into the air and Lisa was loaded onto a stretcher.
