Kayla Ray - Autonomy. I've got it. You've got it. It's only right that we use it to the best of our abilities and trust one another to do the same. Don'tHow much can you control the kind of person you grow up to be? How much are our actions a reflection of our own autonomy vs what society (our parents, our religion, our circumstances, etc.) pushes us to think and do? What can we do about this?

I personally feel as though many different factors play into how we grow up and who we become. Environment, influences/people we look up to, etc. Therefore, I think that everyone can choose to be who they are to a certain extent but I feel as though a lot of background factors play into it. Basically like your past helps to shape you. Our actions are a reflection of our own autonomy vs what society pushes us to think and do because we can always do things opposite of what society may want us to. Yet at the same time, society can seriously affect our actions without us even knowing it simply because it is what we are constantly exposed to. Something that we can do about this is try to be aware of the things that we say and do and take note of when they seem societally driven and then try and correct things like that in similar situations.
