Dear Families,

Each week you will be receiving a “Family Times” newsletter.  This newsletter will explain what we will be learning about that week in Language Arts.  It will tell you which letters and high frequency words we are focusing on that week.  It will also give you a glimpse into vocabulary words and reading comprehension skills that we will be talking about in class.  The best part of this newsletter is that it provides helpful ways for you to practice these concepts with your child at home.

The first week of Kindergarten has come and gone in a flash!  We’ve had such a great time making new friends and getting acquainted with our classroom.  I can’t wait for week 2!  Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
