The lesson i learned from fourth grade rats is to be yourself. And not to copy other people. And to not listen to them when there saying mean things to you. And i learned to be yourself and not to listen to people what they have to say to you. The characters helped us to learn this lesson because Joey was a rat and Morton was a regular person. So Joey made fun of Morton because joey thought Morton was a baby. And Joey was the big boy but really joey was bad. joey got Morton into this rat stuff because Morton liked this girl named Judy Billings. Then Morton turned into a rat and Joey turned into a regular person. So Judy billings started to like Morton. Then at the end Joey had to say sorry to Morton for getting him into all this rat stuff. Then Morton said all the bad stuff he did when he was a rat. I think Morton learned his lesson not to be a rat.
