I am reading a book called “Internment” by Samira Ahmed. So far I think I’m enjoying it. It’s about a girl named Layla and her life as a Muslim. The government has ruled Muslims as dangerous. They must go to internment camps where they are kept “under control”. The book is mainly about Layla fighting for her freedom.
This book sounds good, Eden. Is it fiction? There are actual (now and in the past) internment camps that the US has used. It sounds insane but they deemed it necessary in the past for security.
