Worms!

On Friday, students enjoyed conducting a worm investigation.  We felt, observed, and measured earthworms.  Students learned about the different body parts and labeled a worm diagram.  Some students were a little more excited to touch them than others!

Spring Has Sprung!

As the weather turns warmer and the sun shines brighter, we have been busy in the classroom learning about plant and animal life cycles.  Students are working on a habitat presentation while learning about different plant and animal adaptations.  Check out some of our science experiments:

History Museum

A HUGE thank you to all the families that made it to school on Friday to visit our History Museum.  The students were so proud of their work and loved being able to share it with everyone!

Shake, Shake, Shake!

This week we have been working with procedural text.  Students learned how butter was made long ago compared to today.  With a little hard work, we made some homemade butter in class.  Students ate the butter and compared it to store bought butter.  Ask your child which one was their favorite!

Holidays Around the World

In Language Arts we have been traveling the world learning about how different countries celebrate the holidays.  Travel buddies have been reading and writing about each country in their travel suitcase.  Besure to ask your child how other countries celebrate!
