Hello second grade families!
I hope you are enjoying your summer and are looking forward to a great school year. Our second grade team is asking that families fill in this brief survey so we can gather some information from you prior to the start of the school year.
Please click here to access the survey. Enjoy your remaining summer days and we look forward to seeing you soon!
It has been a very exciting couple of days here in room 106! Our chicks have begun hatching on Tuesday night. So far we have 13 successful hatches and 2 more on the way! Students have been so excited to watch them hatch and play around in their tank. If your family would like to take a chick home when they are ready, please send the permission slip back with your child.
Our Language Arts Class has been working on publishing stories through an online tool called Little Bird Tales. As students finish their tales, we will publish them here for you. Enjoy!
We are currently working on a Solar System unit in science. Students have been so excited to research the different planets. They will be writing a report on their planet to share with the class. Students have also created word clouds to represent their information in a different way. Check out some of our word clouds!
