My book that I read was The Summer of the Swans. In the book charlie Sara’s brother got lost. They noticed in the morning and went to find him. They were looking all day and finally found him.

My name is Katie and I am in 4th grade. I am 10 years old. My birthday is March 20 and my favorite color is dark purple. I love dogs and I have a little dog named Jojo. She is so cute and looks like a little fluff ball. I have blond hair and I love playing sports. I love doing gymnastics at home. I also love playing basketball. I love summer but sometimes it is really hot and I do not like getting stung by bees (that is why I also like spring.) I have a pool and me and my sisters love swimming. I have three sisters and no brothers. I am the youngest in my family (even including cousins.) I hope you know a lot about me by reading this.

On my field trip we did a lot of things. First, we got on the bus and it was about an hour and 15 minutes there. When we got there we went to the museum and there were 3 floors there. We went to the 1st and 3rd floors and then went to a planetarium show. The planetarium show was about earth moon and stars. Then, we were going to walk to the Capitol building.

Next. we were at the capitol building and we had to go through security. We went to the grand staircase (made of marble) to take a grade picture. Then, we went on a tour to about 3 rooms and a tour guide explained things about the rooms and who painted the pictures. Then, we ate our lunch that we had brought. Finally, we went on the buses and drove back to the school.

As you can see,  we had a good and fun day at the museum and at the museum. Maybe you can come sometime.

Once Upon a time there was a little girl that lived in a tiny house with her parents.The girls name was Amelia. Amelia and her dad tried to earn money and buy food for there family, but they couldn’t do it. They didn’t have enough food and her mom got very sick. After a few weeks her mom died. It was hard for Amelia and her dad they had to get food to eat. One time a very rich man saw them and invited them to dinner that night. He noticed they were poor at dinner. He offered them some money and her dad a job. Amelia went the first day with him and it was very fancy. Her dad was making so much money. He said he would build a bigger house but Amelia wanted a castle. She convinced her dad to build one. They started building and it was very hard for them, but they got the hang of it.They built it so tall it looked like it touched the clouds. They got enough money to get lots of food and they lived happily ever after!!!

Have you ever won a basketball game? Well you should read about how I won one before. Maybe you will think that how I won a basketball game will be interesting.

First, I went to a church and got ready with my team to play basketball. We went to a room and were ready to go out to the court. while we were in there we were doing some things to get ready.

Next, our team went out to court and were ready to start the game. “Lets win this game” I said. we started playing to my friends team. We were running back and forth so many times. “I am so tired” My friend said.

Then, Are team together made a lot of baskets. we were all tired but we managed to win the game. we were all happy when we won the game.

As you can see, our team worked together to win the game. If we didn’t work together we wouldn’t of won the game.

The Castle that Stood Forever

Once upon a time a little princess that was 8 lived in a castle. Her name was Violet. Violet was very spoiled and sassy. She loved read,Violet read about everything. One of the very interesting things she read about was termites. She loved to read about termites. She had this crazy idea of getting some. Violet told her papa and he said no way! She never new why termites were bad because the books she read were made up stories with talking termites. She asked him so many times and he said no to all of them. He finally said fine because she had asked him so many times. The next day they went to the pet store and said where do you find termites? They made a deal for them to pay $30 to have them go out and find termites. They did and Violet got them the next day. She put them in a bucket in her room. The next day they had to go to the market. The coat rack was right next to the bucket of termites. Violet quickly got her jacket and the termites spilled out. They went all over the castle while they were at the market.When they got back to the castle she went in her room and there were no termites in the bucket. “Oh No” Violet said. Where are did they go. she was afraid to tell her papa but she had to so she did. Her dad was very mad at her. But just then her dad noticed that the castle wasn’t falling apart it was the castle that stood forever. Her dad wasn’t really mad at her and they lived happily ever after.

My Long weekend

Wednesday, I went to my cousins house and we played games and made little turkeys. I went home and spent time with my family. Thursday, I went to my grandma and grandpa’s house for lunch with my cousins. after, I went to my other grandma and grandpa’s house for dessert and spent the night. Friday, my parents went black Friday shopping and we stayed at my grandma and grandpa’s house and set up the Christmas tree and decorated. Saturday, I went home and we went to my Shady Maple for dinner for my grandmas birthday. Sunday,I went to church and then my sisters friend came over for a sleepover. Monday, we did flips in the basement and then she went home and we relaxed. That was my long weekend.
