Inp book project

Entry 1

Today I asked my father about his time at auschwitz. He told me that he arrived at the camp and started by taking their names and giving them numbers to identify them. They got to take showers but the showers were super cold but at least they weren’t gas showers. He got put to work and they gave everyone clothes to wear. They didn’t even look at the size or anything they just gave him the clothes. He got clothes that fit him but unfortunately for a guy in there got too small of shoes and he complained and got beat.

Entry 3

I got a call from the hospital and they said my father was in the hospital again. There was water in his lungs. This wasn’t the first time there has been water in his lungs. But this time it freaked me out more i was putting all these scenarios through my head. What if my dad dies I don’t know if id be able to function properly anymore.

Week 14

High winds in northern New Mexico on Sunday once again posed a stiff challenge to crews battling a large wildfire that grew significantly over the weekend.

The Hermits Peak/Calf Canyon fire east of Santa Fe, which began as two fires before merging a week ago, had burned almost 104,000 acres, or more than 160 square miles, by Sunday, up from about 75,000 acres on Friday. It was 30 percent contained, fire officials said, with smoke from that fire and another — the Cerro Pelado fire in Jemez Springs, roughly 40 miles west of Santa Fe — permeating much of the northern part of the state.

I think that we need a lot more people working to fix the problem and find a solution to stopping the wildfire.

Week 12

Kansas tornado generated 165 mph winds as it destroyed homes

The tornado that damaged more than more than 1,000 buildings in south-central Kansas generated winds up to 165 mph and carved a path of destruction nearly 13 miles long. Andover Fire Chief Chad Russell said that at least 300 to 400 buildings were destroyed by the storm as part of a total of 1,074 buildings that were damaged. The Weather Service said the tornado was on the ground for 21 minutes Friday evening.

I think we should have more people set up to help homes and family after a tornado occurs.

week 10 blog

I wish that romeo and juliet ended by them both not killing themselves. By this they would’ve hopefully told their parents they got married and They hopefully would accept their choices.
