In chapter 1 of The Watson Go To Birmingham,we learned that the Watsons live in Flint, Michigan and extremely cold there.The Watsons family is made up of Mom, Dad, Joetta, Byron and Kenny, who is the narrator.The problem is that it is extremely cold there and there heater doesn’t work this leaves to a flight with mom and dad because mom wants to live in the south.  First they are about to go to there Aunts house because there doesn’t  heat work. Next,Byron and Kenny went outside to scrape the ice of the car. Then Kenny find out that Byron’s lips were stuck to the car mirror. After that his family comes out of the house and his mom pulls him of the mirror. Finally, when they are on there way to their Aunts Kenny gets Byron back for all the things he has done to Kenny. The solution of the problem was pulling him off the mirror. My favorite part of this chapter was when his dad was making fun of Byron. I learned more about their personality especially Byron character. I learned that Byron is selfish, rude, mean and not nice big brother. This is what was in the 1 chapter of the Watsons go to Birmingham.
