The best gift I ever got was my dog moose last year. And what made it so special was my other dog had just died for cancer and I felt lonely. So when we go a another dog then I had someone to bond with then .And now we are best friend and I love him. He may be just a little off sometimes but i still love him so much.
So sorry to hear about the death of your dog, but I’m happy to hear you found a new bond with your new pet. The connection made with animals are so special!
