I interviewed Will Fithian’s best memory. He said that his favorite memory was went he went to his first eagles game with his family.So I set up a series of 4 questions to ask him about his wonderful experience at the game. Here’s what they are:

 

The first question I asked him was, what did it smell like in the stadium that you were in? Will answered by saying that it smelled like greasy fried food like, hotdogs, fries, and hamburgers etc. While he was at this experience he also said that he had a wonderful juicy cheese steak. I know, that makes me hungry too.

 

The second question asked him was, what did it sound like in that seats that you were sitting at? Will responded by saying It sounded like screaming and booing fans. But the only time people booed is when the opposing team came onto the field. They also booed when the scored, and the fans were screaming because the eagles scored.

 

The third question was, What did it look like in the stadium from your seats?

Will responded by saying that it looked like a big oval with a rectangular field. The fourth and final question was, Who is your favorite player on the eagles team? Will responded by saying that his favorite player is DeMarco Murray, aka, the running back star of the eagles. That is my final paragraph for the interview of Will Fithian.

If I could make a better more experienced monopoly I would faint of excitement. What would I change? Ah! I would change the characters that you could be in the game. For example instead of being the thimble you could be a golden (plastic) Xbox one controller. For the ship it would be a shark with a mustache and a jiant top hat. There would also be a Xbox and a PS4. You know what? Sure why not, and an unicorn with giant buck teeth. I would also change the game play a little bit. I would add Bluetooth so you could move the pieces with you phone, and so you could play your game with any electronic!! I would also add a self-money sorter. I would do that because people are always complaining about how long it take to set up the trading money in the game.

Why is the land so important to the Logans?

 

It’s important to the Logans because the land goes back in history with how the land was earned with money, but it took years to receive the money so they treasure it like it is I giant bag of lovely gold.

The land is important to the Logans because their history goes long back to the old generations of the Logans. They should value it like gold because if they treated it like poop, then they would not appreciate it.

 

Why is Miss Crocker so pleased with the old, dirty books?

 

She is so pleased because it is a hard time for the people in the town. Because of that she is very thankful for any type of book that the school gives her, and she wants the kids to appreciate it too like she does.

Miss Crocker is so pleased with the old, dirty books because she appreciates that they have them. Having the old books is better than not having anything at all. She is also pleased with the books because she wants children to be happy with what they have.  

 

Why does Miss Crocker say Mama is “biting the hand that feeds” her?

 

She says that because Miss crocker doesn’t have a lot of money and the school that she teaches at gives her the money to live. Miss Crocker though fights against the school because she wants to protect her kids. So that phrase “biting the hand that feeds her” means almost exactly how it sounds. Miss Crocker is trying to be helped by the school but she won’t take the help into her own hands.

 

By the phrase “biting the hand that feeds her” means that she is not taking what the school gives her because she is trying to protect the children. She believes that it is her responsibility to care and protect the children.

 

Why does Mr. Grimes, the bus driver, go out of his way to get the black children dirty?

 

He did it because he is very offensive to black kids. Plus people didn’t respect black kids/ people like they do today, and even today they still get treated badly. Mr.Grimes  is very racist when it comes to black kids, and I think that there is something in particular he does not like about those kids. I think it’s because their mom is a very good teacher at the school he drives to. Those are all my answers for the blog prompt.—Tanner Donahue.

If I was a zoo animal I would like to be a gorilla. The reason I would like to be a gorilla is because they always look so cool. Just sitting there and looking like a boss with their big strong arms and rough looking. Another reason I would like to be a gorilla is because they have a very unique minds. They are really quick minded, like how they paint, solve puzzles, and some are even  trained communicate through sign language.  

 

If I was caged I would feel uneasy and very sad. I can’t imagine if people found me in nature and just shoved me into a small, unhappy, little cage of disappointment. If it had a TV and I could draw. That would be a whole different story. I would be a lot happier if I could do those things, but I still would not be 100% happy. One reason is that I would probably would not understand the people on the TV so well, and just drawing and painting all the time would get old really really fast.

 

I would feel pretty good about myself if people visited and watched me. It would definitely raise my self of steam level because just the concept of people stopping to just get a glimpse of a wonderful gorilla is just amazing. Plus I would love to see little kids looking at me with their ooo’s and aahh’s, and their little faces with their jaw dropped. Another reason I would love to be seen by audience is to show off my artist skills. If you would think that I was awesome you should see me draw as a gorilla. Plus if my drawings were selling for money.

 

So, for all the bad things that are said about gorillas be captured and put in zoos. I think, I just think that gorillas might be having just a little fun watching new people come in every day just to live the experience to see all the animals. That is my opinion about be a caged gorilla with an audience might be that the animal might be pretty happy. You never know.        

 

 

Rats another day at the zoo. Well I better introduce myself. My name is Holly the dolphin and live at the Merriamsburg Zoo. When I was little I lived with my Mom, Dad, and my older brother Ben.Then, they took me and put me on a  HUGE ship. I was thinking where are they taking me. Then, they said the word that changed my life. “Zoo!”This is what I do all day watch and watch and more watching people. People come to my cage and look through the big 24 by 24 foot windows. People eat their ice cream cones and then put their dirty hands on the windows. Sometimes I have shows where I show off my skills by letting people ride on my back.At the zoo it is a little boring but sometimes it is fun.At the zoo I met many other animals and now they are my best friends.Sometime you should visit me in the Merriamsburg Zoo just ask a worker where Holly is. I hope to see you!

Hmmmmm!!! Scuba diving or sky diving? Ah Ha! That’s an easy choice. I would rather do sky diving. I have a very serious phobia when it comes to stranded in the ocean. Plus being underwater scares me a whole lot more because we discovered a lot about our ocean but not all of it. What I mean is that there are a lot of mean fish under the sea like, Sharks, anglers, and scientists may have found a new species of fish that go o the very very bottom of the sea called the bloop. It’s supposed to be the size of the iffle tower! That is why I don’t want to go scuba diving.

 

However, sky diving is my kind of thing. I have a little fear of heights though. But not as much as being underwater! Plus I heard that sky diving is supposed to be soooooo much fun. Just the concept of being a weird bird flying through the sky just wants me to get into a plane and jump out of it!!! (with a wing-suit and/or parachute, what? Did you think that I would be that crazzzy?!). Well, maybe. 🙂

 

-If there was no voting system the world would hate the government. How you ask? It’s because if we could not vote the government would be denying the constitutional laws. In the constitution it says that the government has treat the people with respect, so they basically have to let the people express their personal feelings which would include voting. Voting is very important to us to show what the people and me want through our lifetime. I could not imagine if that would be taken away.

I could noif there was no voting system are whole government go down and down and down until it is nothing. Back when voting just was started only white men that were land owners could only votes but what if they couldn’t vote.If they could not vote we would probably could not vote not even women or 18 year olds. If you could not vote how would the country elect their president or vice president? You couldn’t it would impossible and a mad house/country. You could not vote on anything so there would be laws that make no sense and maybe there could 15 presidents at one time! It could be possible because there is no way you can vote one or two of them out.

This is what would happen you could not vote anything craziness. There would be no governors or mayors because of course that is not possible. Are you glad that we can vote on things? So the next time you think that voting is unneeded think again. Hopefully there is no day that are government disallows voting and letting share our opinion.

January 24th, 1999. Journal log one. Well! Here I go on the SS. Suzan! 11:30 P.M. UGH!! I’m so tired, I’m just, yawn, soooo, tired. snore!!!! Snore!!!! BOOM!!!! “Wake up Joe, Wake up!” My mom screeched. “What’s happening mom?” I said with my heart beating out of my chest. “ATTENTION ALL PASSENGERS!!! AN ENGINE HAS EXPLODED PLEASE WORK YOUR WAY TOWARDS THE NEAREST LIFEBOAT!!!” The captain yelled through the speaker. CREEEEEK!!! The boat is sinking we are going under! “The ship is on fire!” “hollard a passenger. Joe don’t inhale the smoke!!” Yelled my mom. But it was already too late. Cough, cough, Wheeze.

 

Journal log two, January 25, 1:30 A.M. I woke up and saw nothing but water and I couldn’t breathe. I swam to the surface as quick as a shark on a feeding frenzy. I was still in the boat only this time it was really on fire!! I have to find an exit or a raft, something that will get me help really fast in a sinking boat. I swam to a ledge that wasn’t completely underwater, but then I heard a giant CREEEEK!!! The boat was still sinking, and the boat was 30  floors so I thought that it would not sink fast. Until I looked at the hotel-looking room doors. room 1, 2, 3, 4, OOOOOOHHHHH NNNOOOOOO! I was trapped on the first floor!!!!

Best Thing(s) to do on a Snow Day

 

For me, the best thing to do on a snow day is play in it with my family. I like to play with my brothers, and now including my step sister, with our sleds and behind our house on the hill. We usually play out until dark. Sometimes we have snowball fights, build forts, and other things like that. I love it when we play with all of our neighbors. They are always making us laugh, happy, and want to play. I also love going inside to the lingering smell of hot chocolate.

 

The second best thing to do on a snowy day is………THE SNOW CHALLENGE!!!!!! If it is snowing really hard and you are completely plowed in go to your highest floor and jump into the snow and hold there for at least 15 seconds. You might also do it for a little dough (if you know what I mean) or maybe chocolate, or really anything. Here’s something if you are really daring, you could could go in you bathing suit It feels like you are jumping into straight a sheet of ice!!

 

The best thing to do on a snow day for me is to do the snow challenge too, but since Tanner already said that, I will go with the second best thing for me. Snow blowing. I like to snow blow because I aim the chute at my dad so he gets covered in snow. Another reason I like to snow blow is because I get payed a TON of money. I usually get around $25 to $30 every time it snows. My last reason why I like to snow blow is because I get really hot an get lots of 15 min. breaks (and I still get payed a lot).

Fiction can bring things to life because it expresses the things that lie in the human’s imagination. you can also be creative and show that side of your mind. without fiction stories there would be no fun and people would never be able to express their thoughts. Without fiction it would also kind of be boring because everything would be about history and true stories. I think that would get old pretty fast.

 

I think that fiction is also important at bringing things to life because everything kids imagine would not come to life in a book and without it. Without fiction, kids would not be able to use their imagination and would be stuck in a world with no happiness or wonder. Even with adults, they would not be able to have any fun or happiness i we didn’t have fiction. Fiction is what makes our lives exciting and happy because is gives many ideas to us that we would’ve never thought of without those creative authors that write fiction stories. Many live would be changed (in a bad way) if we didn’t have any fiction.

 

Without this fiction kids could not be goofy or funny. There a lot of kids in this world that love fiction books because it gives them imagination. If there was not fiction there would not be imagination then there would not be silliness then the whole world would have to be serious ALL the time. Plus I could not imagine the world without STAR WARS. See, I just said I could not IMAGINE the world without star wars. Saying there is no fiction  is like there is no such thing as imagination. That is why I think fiction is important.
