Prologue: From what we know of the Iceman is that he carried a copper axe, unfinished arrows and an unfinished bow, a flint dagger, birch pouches, and a backpack. We know from analyzing his health that he had three diseases, a parasite, and was in his mid forties. He ate venison, grains, goat, and plants. We know he has been fighting and that his hand was injured in one of the fights. The last thing I’m willing to tell you is that he might have been fleeing…

Otzi was the religious leader in his valued village and knew of the risks in doing so, but didn’t expect what was to come next. One day someone else from a different village came in one spring morning trying to become the new religious leader, claiming that his religion was right! Otzi knowing he would be in danger if the village accepted this new person tried to stop him, but he failed and the new person was accepted (his village was big, but not so bright). Otzi’s religion was against fighting so when he decided to run so that he wouldn’t need to fight his own tribe, but the tribe caught up with him when he was eating some venison and grains. Otzi knew that they would find him eventually so he tried to run we he heard them following him, but the pain in his stomach caused to slow down often. He managed to find a little cave to provide some cover. This allowed the tribe to catch and shot him in the shoulder and through his artery. He went into shock fell down and cracked his hard on the hard stones. In his last few moments he remembered to cold snow covering him like a blanket…
