This is southeast Asia and my family originated from here. My ethnic group i’m part is the Hmong, which comes from central China, but moved to the south in Laos and Vietnam after the Chinese conquered the Hmong. Then, some came to the USA, Australia, France and other places, as refugees of the Vietnam War. Now I wanna theorize what if my family stayed in Laos and we didn’t move. Either if the Vietnam War didn’t happen, or the south won, or we just stayed and hoped for the best, we don’t come to America.

First off, no internet, different environment, and different culture. From what I know, we live in the higher parts of the county and farm rice, flowers, and other goods then go down to the towns and sell them. Also, the environment is totally different, with exotic creatures compared to the USA. There’s huge snakes, elephants, exotic birds and amphibians, and so much more. It’s hotter too, with one dry season and one rain season or monsoon season. Like i said, the culture is different too, Hmong culture is what i’ll be part of, and that’ll mean i’ll speak Hmong, eat Southeast Asian food, and have a very different lifestyle. No internet as well, or at least very limited use. In a developing country, I probably won’t have fancy things that I have in America.
