Last weekend on 9/27/15 we went to a picnic for my grandpa’s work. And he invited my family to come to the picnic too. We went but I didn’t know anyone except for my family. They had a raffle at the picnic for kids and adults. They also had a candy guessing. For the candy they had candy corn, M&Ms, and snickers. At the picnic what they had was macaroni and cheese, chicken, pasta, burgers, and bread. For drinks they had lemonade, ice tea, water, and soda. After eating, my brother and I played in the park. In the park we played hide and seek tag. My brother eventually got bored, so we went back to the pavilion where they were having the picnic. Then we got ice cream and put toppings on it. On my ice cream I got chocolate syrup, a cherry, and whipped cream. When we finished eating our ice cream they called the raffle winners. We didn’t win, but I won the candy corn guessing. I don’t know how I won because I don’t remember putting in a guess for the candy corn. For kids they also had something like an Easter egg hunt, but it wasn’t for Easter. It was also different because the candy wasn’t in Easter eggs like it would be for Easter. We got bags then got to pick up candy. We were separated by age group for the candy hunt in case the older ones fought for the candy. We got a lot of candy and started eating some right away. Later that day I felt sick because I ate too much candy.
