Pesticides

Did you know you could get cancer and potentially die from using pesticides!  I know pesticides can do things for your landscaping but it is very bad for the environment. We need to get rid of pesticides because it can harm your body and harm nature. 

My first reason is we need to ban pesticides because it can cause cancer and harm your body. Did you know that pesticides can cause many different cancers and diseases like, Alzheimer’s disease, ADHD, and even birth disease? The dangers of pesticides are unrelenting. Pesticides have the potential to harm the nervous system, the reproductive system, and the endocrine system. This is another reason why pesticides are unrelenting. For these reasons, pesticides should be banned because they can harm your body.My second reason is that it harms butterflies and bumblebees. Insecticide and herbicide (pesticides) have a negative impact on butterflies and bumblebees. People, we need butterflies and bumblebees to live. It is proven that insecticides and herbicides are negative, whereas the use of the borax mixture (fungicide approved for organic use), fungicides and anti-slugs is positively correlated with butterfly and bumblebee abundance. We need to use borax mixture instead of pesticides because the borax mixture doesn’t harm the butterflies and bumblebees but pesticides do. In conclusion, this is why pesticides harm butterflies and bumblebees. 

I know a lot of people might say, “Well the gardens in France are amazing and they need to stay that way. And the only way to do that is to use pesticides.” Well, to answer you, if you didn’t have pallunaters you would not have flowers or fruits and gardens. It is proven that the borax mixture, mentioned earlier, can still kill weeds, fungi, and other things. But it does NOT harm butterflies, bumblebees, and other insects. So you can use this without harming the butterflies, bumblebees, and other insects we need for pollinators. For these reasons, you do not need to use pesticides for a nice lawn or garden. 

In conclusion, we need to get rid of pesticides because it can harm your body and harm nature. As you can see from these reasons we need to ban pesticides. Pesticides can make your lawn look good but not the environment. We need to ban pesticides for good!
