  1. Julie,
This is my first Wellness challenge . After being part of the district for 4 years I feel like it is time to look for new ways to motivate me to stay on track with my wellness.
That video “Make your bed each day” was very inspiring. I have had the privilege of knowing a few Navy Seals from some friends. I have heard those stories about ” Hell Week” and the things they need to go through to complete the training.I am so proud of all of them, but would not wish that training on anyone. I always try to live my life with making lists and crossing off those daily tasks. I never thought about how important it was to start your day with one of the easiest tasks already completed by making your bed.
I have been working with a group of young men as part of bicycle ministry called Life Cycles. Are goal is to mentor to young men from the ages of 12-19 through bicycling and fellowship. We meet in different areas in Lancaster county for weekly rides. It has been a motivation to get healthy by bicycling and staying healthy by going to gym 2-3 times a week just to keep up with them.
All this has made me feel better about myself and how I make other people feel. I look forward to your next challenge . Thank you for all you do.
